There are no words to describe how amazingly beautiful this home is, the location is perfect near town but yet hidden in the woods, we never heard a car go by, only the sounds of nature were heard...so relaxing, our kids enjoyed playing pool, fishing, watching movies, figuring out puzzles (great selection by the way) and hiking in the woods.
We WILL definitely return! The owners are so sweet made us feel so welcomed. Thank you Lisa and Ray for having such a beautiful home. Love, the Pavon Family

Perfect birthday getaway for my husband and anniversary trip for my in laws. We enjoyed everything from the beautiful open country home on the river to sounds of wildlife and close proximity to rainbow River, withlachochee state trail , rolling acres of horse farms and the gulf. We had a wonderful experience. Loved kayaking from the back deck. Best bass fishing just minutes from the dock and plenty to see and do in this charming small town. Lisa made my in laws feel right at home and had fresh home made bread when they arrived. 5 stars. Definitely hoping to make it an annual trip!

My high school aged kids and I had a wonderful time here. I highly recommend this location and I rarely write a review. Lisa greeted us with her famous bread, which was great. The house was very clean and comfortable. Plenty to do around here and a nice escape from all the noise and distractions in life. This has to be the coolest place on the river. All the other positive reviews are right on the money!

This home is truly hidden away. We never heard a car or person the entire time we were there. All we heard was the sounds of birds, fish jumping and bullfrogs. We lived on the screen porch and the outside decks. My husband joked that he could not get me to come inside until the sun went down. We fished, kayaked and paddle boarded as much as we could possibly stand. The listing description is accurate. The three bathrooms and bedrooms were clean and well maintained. There was room for everyone to have a little space of their own if they needed it. Lisa met us at the house and had a loaf of home baked bread waiting! The house was very well stocked with everything we needed and there is a Walmart just down the street. (cont.)

(cont.) We were able to kayak to the tuber bridge in less than an hour. You could continue up into the rainbow for swimming etc. The cove is also nice for paddle boarding etc. The kids pulled brim out of the lower deck all day long. We saw blue heron, alligators, turtles, an otter, etc... You literally could sit on the upper deck all day and be content. If you like to be outside and enjoy nature, this is the place for you.

When we arrived, the first thing we were drawn to was the porch.....wrapped around the back of the house my little fisherman's eyes perked up and he was headed to the car to get his pole. Let's just say, he stayed on that porch for five days and mom was happy. As we entered the house, Lisa had a freshly baked loaf of bread for us and the house was spic and span clean. Spring Break was here and this teacher mom, two boys, 15 and 10 and grandparents were ready for a peaceful retreat. (cont)

(cont) The house was perfect...the boys claimed the upstairs room as my teenager was lugging up his gaming system....the parents had the master bedroom which had a sitting room with gorgeous views of the river. Now about the wildlife, we saw deer, gators, birds, frogs, hummingbirds, and butterflies...it was like we were at a state park with the comforts of home. We had fun padding around the river in the two kayaks they had...and morning walks watching the sunrise through the trees were amazing. (cont)

(cont) The town has some cute thrift stores we had fun looking through and one day we did venture to Rainbow River. We rented kayaks and spend the afternoon paddling down the clear blue waters. All in all this was a memorable Spring Break! We all went home refreshed and renewed. Thanks Lisa and Ray for sharing your special place with us!

Just returned home from our fantastic stay 10/16-10/20 for my husband's birthday weekend. The weather was absolutely beautiful and the house was just as nice! Plenty of space for 6 and privacy for the adults. We caught huge Bowfin fish right off the dock! Grilled out every night under the stars and roasted marshmellows in the fire pit!
October in Dunellon was such fun...there is a little pumpkin patch called "The Pickin' Patch" we took the kids to...what a blast!! Hayrides, corn maze, slides and great folks. Rainbow Springs park was gorgeous too. Docking our boat in the back of the house was perfect. Thank you for a memorable time ...we will definitely be back next year!

Thanks for a great weekend. My cousin and I have not fished together in over 30 years!! He caught the most fish but I caught the biggest!!! Coffee and conversation on the deck was the most relaxing time. There is a lot to experience and see on the river and the lake.
Thanks again, Robert

We had an awesome week at the lake house. There were 8 of us the, boys had a great time. The house had plenty of room to park the boat and jet ski, as well as 3 cars. Thanks!

The view is the best on the river. The kayaks and paddle boat gave us backyard fun for hours. The pool table was entertaining as we played teams and taught my youngest how to play. The teenagers loved the puzzles, they put two together. My husband, my own personal chef, was impressed by how well-appointed your kitchen was and we enjoyed our own private "wing" away from the kids who stayed up all night watching movies and listening to music and playing pool. The beds were heavenly comfortable and everything was so clean. Your location is great, close to everything but tucked away in a forest. The only bad thing I can say is we didn't have a chance to stay longer but glad we snuck in on a cancellation.
